Comaqchi Carapace in Monster Hunter Wilds is a high rank material you can get by slaying a small monster that's native to only one region.
Just like other materials in Monster Hunter Wilds, such as Wingdrake Hide, you'll need to find the small monster the material comes from, then slay them and harvest the materials from their carcass. You're never guaranteed to get this material, so the more you slay the more likely it is you'll find what you're looking for.

In Monster Hunter Wilds you can get Comaqchi Carapace by slaying Comaqchi when you reach high rank. You need to complete the first mission of Chapter 4, 'New Ecosystems', to unlock high rank. If you slay a Comaqchi before you reach this point, you won't be able to find this material.
Comaqchi can be found in the Iceshard Cliffs region in Monster Hunter Wilds. They're a Small Monster that thrives in this chilly environment. The easiest way to track them down is use your regional map filter to highlight one and then follow your scoutflies to their location.
When you've slayed the Comaqchi you need to harvest materials from the carcass by interacting with it. There's a chance that you'll get a Comaqchi Carapace. Luckily, Comaqchi tend to hang around in groups of two or more, so you often can get multiple attempts at finding this material.
Remember, Iceshard Cliffs is a particularly cold region so make sure you consume Heatmantle Bugs or use Hot Drinks to keep your Hunter from feeling the effects of the bitter cold. Also watch your back when searching this region as several powerful monsters, such as Jin Dahaad and Hirabami, like to call it home.
