Monster Hunter Wilds Towards Fervent Fields walkthrough
Taking your first steps in Azuz.
Towards Fervent Fields is the first mission in Chapter Two of Monster Hunter Wilds.
In this mission, you start exploring a new region of the 'Forbidden Lands' in Monster Hunter Wilds and, of course, encounter a new monster who needs defeating. Keep in mind that a change of region means you might need to change your armor and weapons after completing the previous mission, Beyond the Deluge.

Monster Hunter Wilds Towards Fervent Fields walkthrough
Towards Fervent Fields begins with you arriving in a new location in Monster Hunter Wilds - Azuz, the Everforge. (Looks like events are going to get fiery after the lush forest landscape.) You can take the time to explore Azuz now if you like, it is one of the optional objectives after all, or you can barrel through with the main campaign by talking to Yabran.
Follow your Scoutflies to find Yabran before taking the time to discuss both the Keepers and the girl you saw earlier in this mission. Once that conversation is over, it's time to have another one with Alma.
You're now on a mission to find Maki. Before you head out, however, it's worth ensuring you're stocked up on Antidotes or Herbal Medicine as they will be very useful against the upcoming monster. We also recommend using a water-based weapon if you can and bringing along Shock Traps. You may also want to bring items that cause the Sleep, Paralysis, Stun, Blastblight or Exhaust effects.
When you're ready, follow your Scoutflies once again and it will be time to hunt the Rompopolo - a monster which looks far scarier than its name suggests. With the Rompopolo dealt with it, make sure you carve up its corpse before moving on. After which it's time for another cutscene as Towards Fervent Fields comes to a close. You'll receive some times as a reward, along with 20 Guild Points and the Poisonous Plumes background.
Talking to Alma will lead the next mission of Chapter Two, The Eye of the Storm, to begin.
